The Sunshine Coast's most beloved music festival is hitting double digits - and it's throwing a party worthy of the milestone!
On Saturday 1 November 2025, the Big Pineapple Festival returns to the iconic Pineapple Fields for its 10-year anniversary, with a massive lineup, a brand-new dance arena, and all the tropical quirks that have made it a must-do on Queensland’s cultural calendar.
Headlining this year’s celebration is none other than Hilltop Hoods, finally bringing their electric live show to the Big Pineapple for the first time ever. It’s a long-awaited match-up between Australia’s hip-hop heavyweights and one of the country's most unique festival venues.
Joining them on the main stage are a who's who of Aussie music royalty: The Cat Empire, The Jungle Giants, PNAU, and Polaris, each delivering their own flavour of festival firepower. Add in Kiwi stadium-fillers SIX60, nostalgic US duo MKTO, and coastal indie favourites Rum Jungle, and you’ve got a lineup that spans genres, countries, and generations.
“This isn’t just a music festival — it’s a celebration of everything the Sunshine Coast stands for,” said Festival Director Mark Pico, reflecting on a decade of growth since the festival’s first outing. “Ten years ago, we set out to champion Australian talent and create an unforgettable atmosphere. To be here now, with industry recognition and a loyal fan base? It’s pretty surreal.”

A Juicy Line-Up
Beyond the big names, 2025’s edition has a bumper crop of emerging talent and international guests, including:
Thelma Plum – ARIA-winning singer-songwriter and Sunshine Coast local favourite
Hands Like Houses – Post-hardcore heroes from Canberra
Beckah Amani, Betty Taylor, HEADSEND, and IVANA – rising artists earning their spot among the stars.
But perhaps the most exciting addition is the debut of the Superlove Arena, a brand-new stage dedicated to dance music, immersive visuals, and back-to-back DJ sets that’ll keep the vibes high well into the night. Expect sets from global beatmakers like Baauer (US) and Bushbaby (UK), plus iconic B2B sessions from Anna Lunoe x Nina Las Vegas, KLP x Mell Hall, Little Fritter x Wongo, and more.
More Than Music
Music aside, Big Pineapple Festival is also promising the full-sensory experience fans have come to love:
The iconic Ferris Wheel with sweeping views of the festival grounds
The magical Lantern Parade returns after sundown
The Great Australian Pineapple Toss, hosted by Olympic legend Steven Bradbury
And new for 2025: a Health & Wellness Zone, offering a quiet spot to recharge with yoga, guided breathwork, and all things zen between sets.
Whether you're a seasoned "Piney" or a first-time visitor, this is the year to pack your sunscreen, grab your festival crew, and celebrate a decade of sun-drenched good times in the Pineapple Fields.
Tickets go on sale Monday 29 July 2025 — and if history is anything to go by, they won’t last long.
